Fitbit Charge 3

Finally received my belated Christmas present because Staples was slow getting their shipment of Charge 3s but that's not what I'm going to talk about.

Short of disconnecting my Fitbit charge 3 from my phone, how do I get the Fitbit app to use less power on my phone? Before I added this on my phone, I had lots of power, even on Android Pie, on my Essential phone. How do I stop it from showing in my notifications all the time; the essential phone app? I have the Wi-Fi in the GPS shut off and most of the notifications in the Fitbit app or shut off as well.

Hi, in the Fitbit app I have the Always Connected and All Day Sync toggled off. I do a manual sync by making sure location & Bluetooth are on and hit the sync now. To get to these settings, tap on the Charge 3 icon at the top of the Fitbit app and it will take you to all the available settings. Doing this has decreased how much battery is used by the Fitbit app.
