Is gamefly worth it?

I am contemplating getting the video game rental service gamefly. any members here? do you guys think it is worth it?

I sign up on and off for GameFly but overall the service isn't great. It can take a week or more for a new release to ship if not shipped on day one. Add on 3-7 days for shipping at times and its ridiculous. I don't know, I guess it depends if you want to play a ton of games. I think I want to play a lot but I find myself underwhelmed after renting a game.

I really like the service, games are just too expensive now to buy and end up being disappointed. So if you are someone who likes to play the newest games when they first come out, or you want to just try random games, then go for it. I have been happy with the service for the 2 years I have been with them.
