It seems strange to me that the S4 costs so much. That it is more expensive than the G2 is weird. ...but it does have a replaceable battery and SD card-eating SD card eater.

Absolutely. That is why it strikes me as weird. To me, the G2 is clearly...and I mean CRYSTAL clear...better than the S4, though the S4 is a nice phone in its own right. Its not remotely important but just odd to me.

I also need to pick a carrier either T-Mobile or Sprint. T-Mobile has good coverage in my area I dont know about sprint but if I get sprint I can find the phones for cheaper prices.

Yes, but, with Sprint, you'll pay for it, more than pay for it, in service fees. For us: T-Mobile was both far less expensive and has better coverage.

I think the problem is lower sales due to poor name recognition. The S4 is more "famous".

I agree.

Last night while buying the G2, the BB mobile rep seemed pretty clueless about the phone. He said it was the first G2 that he had sold in a month.

Only issue was the back buttons but here we are 18hrs later and my daughter loves the button placement lol

Last night while buying the G2, the BB mobile rep seemed pretty clueless about the phone. He said it was the first G2 that he had sold in a month.

Its now $400 and sometimes goes on sale for less. Got mine for $350 in the holiday sale, just check out Motorola.com. I would also recommend this phone, love the unique features like active notifications and touch less controls.

As far as picking a carrier, it really will depend on where you live/work. If T-Mobile has good coverage in your area I would pick them over Sprint. I was with Sprint for 8 yrs and while coverage was decent data speeds were horrible. I'm talking 200-300kbps down with full signal. In my apartment I get 1-2 bars on T-Mobile 3G and its 5-6Mbps down. Customer service couldn't be any more different either, Sprint is terrible they didn't even care that I left them. T-Mobile's CS is US based and they've always been super helpful for me.

I was faced with that exact choice and after thinking I would get a HTC One for months, ended up with Moto X. Nexus just didn't have any added value to me personally and ultimately I decided that the One was just too expensive off contract. So when the Cyber Monday promotion came up I jumped on it. And have been totally happy with the Moto X since I got it. So both it and T Mobile were a good choice for me.

"Nexus 5 has no additional features" but an iPhone 5c is in consideration....hahaha. The most less-featured brand of phones in the world lol. There's a comment above stating all the N5 does as well as the moto x is real cheap, $99 on contract or $399 off contract and there's a deal right now that you get a free chromecast with a purchase of one. For carrier coverage, download Sensorly and check. Good luck

I had the s3 and now the HTC one, both are good phones but the built quality of the one and the sound knocks the s3 out the box. I would recommend the HTC one

With 32Gb version SD card is almost redundant...
My Moto G is 16Gb and after putting all my "stuff" in it still have 6GB free. Most space is taken by Music (3.8GB), Pics&videos (2.3GB) and apps (780MB).
