Sprint Visual Voicemail

I received a text from Sprint yesterday that reads "Your Visual Voicemail account is being upgraded. After 04/02, please call in to voicemail to record your new greeting and reset your passcode." Does anyone think this upgrade will fix the inability to use Visual Voicemail if you use Google Hangouts or Handcent for text messages?
 
Not sure. Probably would be best to call them and ask them.

I never get straight answers from Sprint. I'm sure they would tell me to hard reset the phone. That seems to be their standard response to any question.
