    Most likely not if it's not a Sprint variant. They're picky about things like that.

    If you look at the model number of the Sprint variant and the one sold through Apple directly, it should be identical.

    The difference, of course, is that the Sprint version is locked to Sprint until it's paid off.

    I am confident it would work.

    Sprint locks their sim to a device from my understanding, so most likely you're going to need a new sim card. Although I think you can request a uicc unlock code, but I think that's just for the device.
