2 questions and i have a spare tmobile sim card i just found

ok right now i got 1 phone and the sim im using thats in the phone and a new 1 i found in my backpack the 1 in the phones been disconnected i may lose number :( if i use the new sim to start a pay as you go plan can i later upgrade to a simple choice plan or simple prepaid plan ?

the sim thats in the phone was recently changed plans so i cant change it again to pay as you go ?

i just dont wanna lose my number but if i happens so it happns il get a new number :(

You should probably talk to t-mobile. If the sim you found was used before its probably been deactivated. If you change from prepaid to post paid or vice versa they give you a new sim.

T-mobile had a policy that prepaid customers can switch to post paid ie simple choice plans after a year in good standing. I believe that is still in effect.

I don't know if this will work, but if you are in jeopardy of losing your number have you tried talking to another pre paid vendor like cricket to see if they can transfer your number to their account?

I don't think what you're trying will work. The number you have will be forever tied to the old account. They won't allow a new account take over that number since the old account isn't in good standing.
