Marshmallow upgrade on BYOD Note 4?

I brought my Samsung Note 4 from AT&T to T-Mobile a few months ago. Will it be possible for my to upgrade to Marshmallow from T-Mobile when it becomes available?

It depends. AT&T is famous for blocking updates to their unlocked devices unless they have a SIM card from their network, but they don't do this for every device, so you might be safe. Once it's available, you won't be able to get it as an OTA download (not being on AT&T's network) so you'll have to check over WiFi or by using Kies in your computer.
