    I bought a Note 5 for Verizon from Best Buy on Saturday. I called Verizon to activate the phone and the customer service rep said it would take until Wednesday (5 days!) to deliver the SIM to activate the phone (make calls, text, LTE service). The customer service rep could barely speak English which was incredibly annoying and frustrating. Is 5 days normal for starting a new mobile account with Verizon? Best Buy and Verizon charged me $800 for my 64GB Note 5. They want me to wait 5 days to use it???!!!

    Is this right????

    The phone should have come with a sim card preinstalled. Try online activation on your My Verizon account.

    Or, go to a corporate store and they'll give you a sim card if there isn't one for some reason.

    Is this a prepaid or post paid sim? Post paid customer service has always spoken good English. Prepaid not so much (sounds like from India)

    It should come with a SIM and all Best Buy has to do is scan the barcode to get the SIM info.
