Can't upgrade early for pre-order?

So I'm wanting to get the Note 7 pre-order going tomorrow. I have 2 months to go on my 2 year plan which will then expire.

I chatted online today and was told I could get a manager override and place the order for my note 7 tomorrow.

After calling in, I was informed I can't upgrade early to a pre-order without sending my phone in once the new phone arrives.

So I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows if I should just call again and get a different perspective?

Or would it be smart to just go ahead and pre-order and not worry about selling my Note 4 outright?

And as soon as I post this I call back, and the girl is getting me set up tomorrow. All depends on who you talk to.

I'm going with the 2 year price and sell my note 4 (mint condition) for as much as I can

Yes, you can. My upgrade was 10/20/2016 and I called and a Manager moved my upgrade date to 8/02/2016 and I pre ordered the Note 7 for just $299. with another 2 year contract.

Yes, just keep trying until you get someone friendly. Tell them you need a manager to move your upgrade date up so you can pre order the Note 7.
