Galaxy Tab E 8.0 any good?

Does anyone have the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 tablet? I'm thinking of getting one to replace the freebie LG G Tab F 8.0 which is super slow. This LG tablet only has 1 GB of memory, which I believe is causing the extreme slowness.

Can anyone comment on the responsiveness of the Tab E 8" Tablet? Any issues with the popup keyboard taking forever to appear?
