just left Verizon with Project Fi and so far I really love it. I have only had one issue so far, and that was my sister not getting calls through because her phone had a setting with Wi FI calling and the calls wouldnt go through. weird.

Anyhow my real question is, with PRoject Fi for it to switch to wifi networks you need to leave wi fi on all the time. It seems that a common drain of your battery is when you leave Wi Fi on when your not in a wireless network area. Do most of you leave your wi fi on all the time, and if so, have you noticed battery drain because of it? Im just hesitant to leave it on all the time due to battery drain but it doesnt seem to make sense with project Fi. What have you all been doing and what have you seen as far as battery drain wise? I'm using the new google pixel, but curious in general.

I've never turned WiFi off when not in a place I'm using WiFi so I have nothing to compare to but I don't think it's a HUGE drain.

I leave my wifi on all the time and the display still consumes the most battery followed by Android. Not an issue.

Wifi uses a very small amount. I wouldn't worry.
