Upgrading from Moto G7 plus to G8 plus

Having some issues with google account restore / backup going from the G7 plus running android version 10 to the G8 plus running android version 9? Is there a work around to fully restore all data from the existing phone G7 plus (android version 10) to the new phone G8 plus (running android version 9)? During the setup process of the G8 plus, getting an error message that cant restore from a newer version of Android to this device, some apps and settings may not be updated - but no way to know what wont be transferred so what to do?

Welcome to the forums. You should be able to complete the restore process. I think that warning message means that the apps, options and features that were added in Android 10 won't be restored since they don't exist in your current system.
