ear buds can only pair to one device?

I got a pair of Samsung ear buds today (the new ones) and paired them with my tablet, that went fine. But now I can't pair them with my phone. Is that normal?

Not normal. Maybe when pairing with the 2nd (or 3rd)device,turn off Bluetooth on the 1st device/tablet. I have my Buds Live paired with 3 devices... So far.
