Sim card not working, icons disappear

Hello

I am on Android 10 & One UI 2.

I use a Samsung Galaxy A40.

Since my last update in October 2020 I get icons disappearing from my home screen daily.

I get regular messages saying the sim card is not working. Then it goes back to normal minutes later.

My phone restarts on a daily basis.

What is going on?

Is there a fix?

The next update looks to be months away.
