I have done everything I think to get my android webview working. Can you fix it for me or tell me a very very easy way of fixing it

Android System Webview's functions were taken over by the Chrome browser a while back. That is no longer the case, but older devices may still have it that way. If that's the case, the only way to enable it would be to disable Chrome, then manually enable SWV. Generally speaking, this shouldn't be necessary.

If you are having a problem with something, reply back with your device make and model, and what symptoms you're having. If there are no problems right now, then probably best to leave well enough alone.

If for some reason you still want SWV enabled, you will need to permanently disable Chrome and install another browser for your web browsing.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device do you have, and which version of Android is it running? Chrome became the default webview app on Android from Nougat through Pie, meaning Android System Webview was disabled by default. Starting with Android 10, Chrome was no longer the default any more. So it's important to know which version of Android you're running.
