why does the touch wiz launcher keep stopping on my galaxy tab pro

Touch wiz continuously stops while using my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 What can I do or is there another launcher that's
comparable or in this case better

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select TouchWiz, and clear its cache. If that doesn't help, then you can try clearing its data, but this will wipe your homescreens, and you'll have to set them back up again.
