Daylight savings AZ calendar issues

Every time the time changes (even though AZ doesn't change time) our calendars on our Android phones get messed up.

Some appts change by an hour, some don't. We have had this problem for year's and searching forum's it seems like so has everyone else.

We've had Motorola, Pixel, and Samsung phones over the years with different OS over the years in all the phones and they've all had issues each time change.

We use the free Business calendar app, but it seems that everyone else has had issues with that calendar app, or the native calendars.

Does anyone know how to fix this once and for all, it seems like it's been an issue for years and bone of the threads I've found so far seem to have a fix that works.

Welcome to Android Central! In the Google Calendar app, go to Settings>General. What time zone is listed there? Does it say "Mountain Standard - Arizona"?

For the events that change inappropriately, select one and edit it, then look at the time zone. Does that say "Mountain Standard - Arizona" as well, or something else?
