I have been an avid android user for over 10 years. For the first time, i think i picked up a bug of some sort.

I am getting weird notifications in my task bar that shows the samsung browser logo and say "your new iphone 12 is paid in full" or "you missed a call from ups"

I have run karspasky and maleare bytes with no adware, viruses or anything found.

Open the browser, tap the 3 lines in the top right, select settings, select sites and downloads, select notifications. Do they show up there and can you disable them?

I agree with hallux's approach. You may have gone to some shady website at some point and agreed to receive notifications from the site when it prompted you.

Yes, they show up there. It started yesterday after i tried to download meshmixer on my phone for class since autodesk website is discontinued. Had to go to file horse or something like that and i probably hit the wrong button.

So how do i undo this?

Look at the section in this article about how to turn off notifications from specific websites in the Samsung Internet Browser: https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/0...e-ads-android/
