Not physically (memory is soldered with all phones now and is not user-serviceable). Also, the system won't allow for external storage (USB sticks or SD Cards) to be used as extended internal one (unless you have a VERY old Android OS version). You can hack it to make it so, but it's not advisable as external storage can be finnicky, especially SD Cards.

Your best bet is to upgrade to a newer phone that has more internal storage (especially since your phone is 4 years old and stopped getting any security updates years ago). The bare minimum these days should be 64 GB, but if you like to install lots of big apps and/or keep lots of media (music, videos, photos) saved locally, then 128 GB or higher is recommended.
