Why i have vertical lines on my phone

When i unlocked my phone im shock because theres a yellow line on the left side.How to fix it and how this got on my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does it persist after a reboot, or in Safe Mode? If so, then the screen is probably faulty -- you'd have to bring it to a repair shop (or contact the manufacturer if it's still under warranty).
