Hello my name is Ryan, I have a problem. I had rooted LG Optimus and it worked out really well for me. Last night however, I made a big mistake. I wanted to unroot because I was going to return my phone, so I deleted Super User using uninstaller application, and then proceded to do a factory reset. Now I am stuck in clock work recovery mode. I have tried restoring from previous images, I have tried flashing stock roms. I have cleared the cache etc, the results are all the same stock rom doesn't install and a rebook always takes me back to the clockwork recovery mod. Please help

I am worried that in clockwork with out SU Permission I have a $150 light weight brick, is there a way to add SU Permission or remove clockwork recovery so I can flash a stock rom provided the one's I have are indeed stock? I can return this to Best Buy but I don't want them to turn on the power even though they likely wont.

You are more likely to get a good answer in this forum http://forums.androidcentral.com/opt...ng-roms-hacks/
The members there are much more informed in regards to your particular phone.

The good thing is that recovery loads. Try and go through the process to return it to stock. See this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...urn-stock.html

The people in that forum are extremely helpful. Understand the process and ask questions if you are unsure.

Check my posting about a week ago. There's a link I posted about how to get your Optims V back to working order.

Never mind, here's the link. Pay no attention to the title of the link. It's not so difficult, and you'll learn a couple of things

    @ Moscow Desire:

A HUGE thank you for posting this. I was able to recover my nephew's phone because of this.
