I've had my Dinc since release. After about 9 months, the plastic lens cover popped off. Verizon replaced the phone, but that lens eventually came off too. I take excellent care of my phone, so I feel like HTC just did a poor job adhering the lens cover. In addition, I always felt as if the lens was smudged or hazey. I was constantly cleaning it before taking pix, but it just never seemed clean.
Seeing as though I would never carry my dedicated point and shoot around with the lens exposed, I would really like to keep my phone's lens covered or protected in some way. I'm about to upgrade to a new phone and want to take advantage of the camera improvements that been made since I got my Dinc, so I'm wondering if there is something out there designed to protect the lenses on phone cameras. I just don't see how people are getting such clear shots from lenses that are bumped around pockets, purses and bags all day.
Any suggestions?
