Screen Not Timing out Droid 3

I have a Droid 3 and have been having trouble the last month with my screen not timing out and it says the Display is using 69% of my battery. It is set on 30 seconds and it doesn't time out. While it's charging it also stays lit up unless I manually click it off. I need help.. my battery just keeps running down.
