Changing Device ID as Viewed on a Router

Looked around a bit before posting this. Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find an answer.

I would like to know if and how to alter the Droid's "Host Name" on mt Belkin router. Currently, it appreas as "android_bc360d10b8xxxxxx" on the DHCP client list. Other devices on the wireless network appear as a custom name such as Duty Crew PC, or lrod2. I have changed the bluetooth name, but can't find a way to make a custom ID to be viewed on the wireless system. I'm using a RAZR. Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to do it through your router. I don't think there's a way to do it fron the phone.
