Thinking of switching from Apple....

I had an iPhone 3G and am thinking of switching to a Samsung Galaxy S2...

I have been an unabashed apple fanboy for ten years and am not unhappy with them but I did get an android phone temporarily and have really liked how much you can customize it. I jailbroke my iPhone but can't customize it nearly as much as android which I modded and am running MIUI on.

I do still love much about Apple but think I am ready to switch so tell me guys, what do you guys like or dislike when you compare the two? Where does Android really rock and kick Apples %#*#?

If I switch what's the first thing I should do?

Is Android really better? (I know I am in an Android forum btw)

I also came from Apple, but I have used just about every platform in the past (Blackberry, Palm, Windows mobile). Android is by far the most usable. This is the first device I've had that has more or less completely replaced my PC.

Yeah read the Apple users guide. Great overview.

Going to look at a galaxy s2 this weekend. Still debating about what to do. Wish the battery was a bit better but that is always a problem with whatever phone you choose.
