Transferring Contacts

I dropped my blackberry last night and I was able to back up my contacts to an ipd file. Does anyone know how I can transfer them over to my droid? I'm a newbie so I'm not familiar with android terms just yet. My blackberry shows a white screen and I can't see anything.

I was able to back up my contacts to an ipd file.

I don?t know from Blackberry, but Android Contacts wants CSV files, pretty standard format. Here?s a page that explains Creating or editing CSV files. Can you export in that language?

I don't know anything blackberry. But check whether there is an option for export blackberry contacts to SD as CVS. Then you no need to afraid. Import that CVS file to Google contact or your Android phone. If there is contact image, everything import using this method.

That's not very confusing. CSV is the correct file type. There are ways to convert an IPD file to a CSV file.
