Time change on Optimus thru metro pcs

My phone did not change the time for Day Light savings time. I've tried turning it off then back on, I've made phone calls, & nothing. Any ideas? Do I have to wait for Metro to update for the whole network ?I called Metro & they "refreshed" the phone, it didn't work. Any other ideas?

Your phone is seeing the time the tower is sending out. It's their problem. Not much you can do about it.

same problem with my lg esteem and my son's lg omtimus m. However, my daughter-in-law has a samsung admire with Metro and her's updated this morning just fine. I am using juice defender and had the data set to disable on screen off. If the data was off overnight, could that be the reason it didn't update? Of course I rebooted a couple of times with data on and had no success today.
