Help! how to turn off "debugging"....

My screen has gone out, but my phone still works (it rings when I'm called and I can call using the voicedialer on my bluetooth earpiece.

So! Now, I have a ruined phone... and need to get my information off of it (I use it for work).

Cool... so I just plug it into my computer and drag the info off, right? wrong.... I have debugging turned "on" because I use a tethering PDAnet.

Is there any clever trick that will allow me to turn debugging "off" without being able to see the screen?

I have a samsung stratosphere.
