Trying to update Telus Samsung Galaxy S 2 to ICS

I have tried to follow the instructions on the Kies air page and I am totally lost. I am through telus. I have installed Kies air. The instructions on the samsung webpage say to plug in my phone and it should update through Kies. Except kies air only opens when I go through my browser. Its not a stand alone program. I have downloaded the file that Samsung says to as well.

When the phone is connected via wifi there is no option to click on "firmware". like on the Samsung turorial....Im very confused and frustrated. Any help would be great. Do I need a specific driver or something for my phone?
