How do I permanently break free from Apple's ecosystem?

I currently own a GSM Galaxy Nexus and I am in love with it. ICS dominates iOS in every way except one - media/app ecosystem. I still carry around my old iPhone 4 to use as a PMP. I have invested hundreds of dollars into apps and games from the App Store. I'm ready to leave Apple forever though due their ridiculous litigation and sue-happy lawyers. Although this won't change that I've given them a ton of money, I feel the need to say goodbye. Does anyone have advice on what I should do/use to transfer my media to my Galaxy Nexus so I can have an iPhone-esque media experience?

You're never gonna be able to get your apps transferred obviously, but there are plenty of apps transfer your music and especially the GSIII has the ability to sync with your iTunes.
