How do I read the signal strength on an original EVO 4G ?

I have a stock original EVO 4G. I know that on some phones you can read the signal strength in -db. I can't find a menu item that shows this on my phone.
Assistance would be appreciated

Go to Menu -> Settings -> About phone -> Status - You will see the signal strength there.

When I go to About phone, there is no Status. There is a "Battery use" with sub menus, Legal information" with sub menus, and that is it. Nothing called "Status"

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Sorry - Try About phone -> Network That's where is it on the Stock DInc which is the same version of Sense.

I wish it was there, but it is not. There is a Wireless & Network option under settings, but there is nothing in that or any sub menu that gets me to an indication of signal strength

I cannot find it either. I have been looking for an hour now. I'm going on Sprint.com tomorrow and live chat with someone to find out. My signal is horrible recently and this was before the latest update to
my phone.
