Overclocking?

I tried multiple overclocking apps and my lg optimus v. But ALL only go up to 600 mhz. I want to get it to 800 at least so I can run things fast but I can't go any higher than 600. Any tips or upgrades I can do to increase overclocking speed?

You have to have a custom kernel to be able to overclock. It's only showing you a max of 600 bc that's as high as the stock kernel will go.

Most custom ROMs include an overclockable kernel. I'm assuming you're rooted...go check out the ROMs in the optimus v rooting, roms, and hacks section.
