Problem Downloading Apps from Android Market and 3rd Parties

I just got the Evo yesterday and have not been able to successfully download any new app either free or paid from either the Android Store or other 3rd party such as Amazon or Ebay from my phone. It goes to "download" with the status bar, but nothing happens.

I have tried connecting to wi-fi as well. I have the Google account set-up and have paid the additional $10 for the data premium. Just nothing downloads.

Any help, suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

This sounds like it might be an issue with the phone... maybe go back to Sprint and get a new one?

is it rooted? that maybe the issue if it is.

if not then like kyleg said, i would probably bring it back to sprint and see what they say.

Anybody know why for the last 2 days all my attempts to download apps from the Android Market say Download Unsuccessful?
