force close

I have a HTC Desire S. It won't let me do anything on it & keeps coming up with the message "Force Close/ "send report"
I have taken the battery out several times & it works agian for a while but comes back with that message. What can I do?

Which app or process is force closing? Are you rooted or anything?

usually it would say [App name] is not responding. Force close/Send report,

what does it say?

If it's always the same app, clear that app's cache. If it's many different apps, try a factory reset. (You'll have to enter all your personal information again, and set up all your accounts, like Gmail, again.)
