Hi all,

I have a Philips DLNA enabled TV. I also have and LG NAS. Together I can play videos and such on my tv. Which is great. But the problem is I can only play AVI files and some MP4.

I have found various media server apps that will "see" my nas. And I can stream a video from the NAS to my phone, and my phone plays any file format. If I select the TV as my device to play the video then it doesnt work. It seems the apps only show the location of the video on the NAS and then the TV itself plays the video.

Is there an app that can play any format and show this on my TV??

If there is no app for this. What other way would there be to play MKV files and so on my TV?

I use an galaxy S2 on stock ICS btw.
