Voicemail Indication - Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I just have had my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone for almost and month and its fantastic. The one thing I have noticed is that the voicemail indicator is showing up in the status bar but I don't have any voicemial messages. I tried leaving a voicemail and then listening to it (then deleting it) to see if that would work but no luck. Is there any way of remove this indicator since I don't have any voicemail messages? I'm from Canada and I am on the Rogers network. Any ideas would be great. I would love to have this fixed. Thanks for your assistance.
