Android Central App ... Log in Issue ..

I just downloaded the app, I'm rather new here & already signed up obviously though. I signed up via my Google account and Facebook account... I just log in with those via the website. On the app it isn't giving me the option to login via Facebook or Google? I tried the user names and passwords for those account as well and it didn't accept those.

Am I missing something? Thanks.

Hello.

As I remember you have to make an actual account with AC and not use your Facebook account to log in with the app.

Weird. Its kinda silly to give different options to sign in via the site, but not the app?

Yes I agree. I guess it's one of the short comings of the app.

Maybe in a future release they can change that.. ?

Log in on PC/MAC browser to your Android Central account like you do (with google or facebook account). Then in settings press "change password" and use new password (and old user name) with your Android Central App.

It works for me.
