selecting options in stock recovery????

volume up/down work for highlighting each option but power button will not select the highlighted option. anyone know how to select an option in system recovery for LG?

Not sure which model of LG your referring to but does it have a physical or capacitive home button? If so.... That could be the " INPUT/SELECT " button in your stock recovery.

With some devices, you use Volume Down to scroll down, and Volume Up to select. Does Volume up actually scroll up for you?

capacitive home button. i've tired almost every button combo there is. is it possible that it is just locked? You would think if it was that you wouldn't even be able to bring up the recovery menu.

Volume down scrolls down volume up scrolls up. I've tried tapping power button and it doesn't work.

Give us the exact model of LG phone. Look under Settings/ About Phone/Model Number.
