I want to flash an htc evo shift 4G and use it on my verizon account but I've read pros and cons about it and theres only one thing i'm concerned about and that is, If I flash it and switch over then it will work but I wont have 4G, idk how true this is or not but the only reason Ihave verizon is cuz I have there old plan w unlimited data. Needless to say I want to keep using my data at a 4G speed. So if someone knows whether that'll happen or not please a little info so I can have a phone already. Been 2 weeks and i'm dying! Lol thanks guys!

If the phone's IMEI isn't in their database, it doesn't matter what you do - it won't register on their network. Is this originally a Verizon phone, flashed to something else? If no, you won't be able to use it on Verizon.
