I have the google drive application on my desktop so that I store all my files both on my pc and in the cloud, but is there a way to have google drive on my phone and to automatically upload pictures I take using the phones camera but not to have all my files downloaded and synced to my phone as I don't need to have all my files in three places, is there a way of using my phone to view all of my files and possibly download them as if they were on my phone but not actually have them sitting there taking up all my space

so it would be like having the gallery I currently have and being able to view all my photos pretty much as normal but instead it is all stored online

when I say files I only mean photos and videos.

thank you.

Haven't found a way to do exactly that. However if you have auto upload turned on for google plus your photos will sync. + (no pun intended) any photos you have backed up from your pc can also be viewed on Google+ or the Photos app.

I recently turned that off as there are a ton of work photos clogging up my G+ uploads.
