For many months now, I have been using my old HP TouchPad (with Android) as a always-on, docked device for work. So it sits at my desk with a stand, always plugged in, screen time out times of 1-3 hours.
I have task widgets, calendar widgets, a couple of live streaming video apps installed. It's been fairly useful as it is, but was hoping someone has done the same thing and had even more ideas how to make it work even more for me.
I have Tasker installed, mostly just to help with adjusting screen time out times throughout the day (from 3 hours to 5 minutes once off work). It also opens a live video app a couple minutes before a particular webcast starts (this has become it's primary mission -- feed me live video as I work). That's really it though, as far as Tasker goes. Any other thoughts on how I could improve the experience there?
I feel there are ways I could make this thing work even more for me and would love to hear some ideas.
