Any wya to tell WHY an app is not compiatble with a device?

So I use the TV Listing for Android app on my phones and one of my tablets to see whats on TV:

However, it says it's not compatible with my HP Slate 7. All the app does is show you a channel setup based on your zip code. The Slate 7 doesn't have GPS on it so that's my only guess as to why it might not be compatible (which is dumb because the app lets you type in your zip code anyway). However, is there any way I can tell for sure why the app isn't compatible with my device?

Yeah, I did that already but didn't hear back. Just didn't know if there was some advanced settings something somewhere that would show me what it was looking for exactly.

Nope, no setting for that. Keep emailing the developer. This is a situation where being a pest can produce results.
