After some water damage the screen on my HTC one has stopped working (completely blacked out). The phone is still working as I can hear it, see the low battery flashing light and I have been able to take screen shots which have been automatically uploaded to my dropbox. Can anyone help me back up the rest of my files or access my phone without a working touch screen (which would also appear to be locked)?
    Thanks in advance!

Hello. Unfortunately you won't be able to backup the data on the device since you have no working screen to accept any options to initiate the connection.

Shop method: Connect a parted screen (a screen from damaged a phone that was saved for parts) to the phone and get the data off. A good shop (one in it for more than just the bucks) will do that for you (for some bucks, of course).

You will, of course, be backing up everything of any importance from now on, won't you?

Pretty sure there's a way to do it with Fastboot or ADB, although you'd have to search it. Sorry I couldn't help!

adb will work - if USB debug is on and the OP is familiar with the Linux command line. I wouldn't put too much money on either possibility.
