Hi,

I have an ASUS TF700KL tablet that I'm trying to fix a firmware update on.
The only firmware update available for this model can be downloaded from the ASUS webpage - you can't get it from the settings menu.

The unzipped file is a .raw file, so the only way I can get the tablet to update the firmware using this file is if I put it on the external SD card and make a hard reset launching from the SD card. However, for some weird reason the tablet can't see the SD card when in the boot mode. The SD is clearly visible and accessible when using the tablet.

Does anyone have any idea why and if there is a fix?

Thanks :)

It should read it. I'd advise you to contact ASUS tech support but I'm not that much of a Sadist, and getting through to someone at ASUS who knows more than what it says on the computer screen is a very painful process. I've given up buying their products just because of that one reason. I'd rather give my money to people who remember me AFTER they've got my money. ASUS' memory seems to end with the paying of the bill.
