Share Google Play, but not Gmail or other google services

I'm just about to give my son his first android phone. I'd love to be able for him to access my paid apps, but I don't want him having ability to get to my email, drive, google voice etc.

This article/comments seemed to suggest it was not possible, but it's more than a year old. Just wondered if anything had changed?

It is still pretty much the same. When you enter a Gmail account, it will sync everything that is associated with that Gmail.

You can setup an App that allow you to password protect certain apps you identify. This means locking every app you don't want to be accessed. It's a workaround, but works if that the way you want to set it up.

Take a look at App Lock in the Play Store and see if that's what you are looking for.
