Deleted image keep appearing as wallpaper

Hi All.
Im new to the forum. I have said a brief hello in the intro section so hope you don't mind me coming in with a question.

I once took a photo that I would rather people didn't see. Nothing legal, just me posing in front of the mirror haha but I never intending on keeping it so deleted it. Some time later I installed Gallery Lock app but found when I opened the app the wallpaper behind the password lock screen is the photo took some time back. Also after my phone crashed the other day, when I came back on the photo was set as my desktop wallpaper. I dont ever member assigning the photo as a wallpaper.
I have tried Andro Shredder app to remove deleted files and used it also to delete the DCIM file. This didnt work so I restored my phone to factory settings but this has had no effect ether. I dont know why my phone is so obsessed with this one photo when I have taken and deleted so many images. Quite scary to think this is all on the phone when you sell it even if you think its deleted.
Can anyone help me find and completely remove the photo?

It sounds like the App you are using it what is causing those problems. I would suggest deleting it then try using another App Lock - https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...etails?id=com.domobile.applock&token=KjtPr7t_

That has great reviews, positive rating and seems to do what you are trying to accomplish, which is password protect the gallery app. Good luck and let us know if you have further questions.
