    I have another problem with my new alcatel POP C1. MY Smart Suite software on my phn is ver 9.1 and the PC software version that they have available on the website under support is only ver 9.0
    and surprise surprise using their search function to search for downloads of the Smart Suite software shows NO results for Smart Suite at all.

    Has anyone else had this problem and do they know where I might find the right version of the software or if there is any other way to fix this issue?

    I have contacted them about it already and spoken with one of their tech ppl and was advd that they will have to check if there is another version available or what other ways there is to work around the issue.

    Software versions of a program on a PC won't necessarily match with that of its counterpart on Android. Are you experiencing any compatibility problems? If it's working fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

    No it's not working and the error message specifically tells me that it won't work because they are different versions.

    That's pretty frustrating. What does Smart Suite do? Is it crucial for you? Maybe its functions can be duplicated by other apps.

    Try going to Settings>Apps>All, find Smart Suite, and see if you can Uninstall Updates. If by some chance you were able to update it before to 9.1, maybe you can uninstall the update and it will go back to 9.0.

    It's the software that allows you to sync between your pc and phone.
    I'll have a look although I doubt that it will allow for any rollback because the 9.1 ver on my phn is straight out of the box brand new. I havent actually updated the software at all.

    When I spoke to alcatel they said that they would check for available versins and email me ... that was 4 days ago and I am still waiting to hear from them.

    Keep bugging Alcatel, and make sure you get the name of the person you're contacting.

    apres des heures de forum j'ai enfin trouve !!

    Lors de l'installation de smart suite sur le PC, il y a un fichier 'MainActivity.apk' qui est copie sur le PC.

    Il faut se l'envoyer sur le mobile par messagerie, l'installer, et le tour est joué

    MainActivity.apk est le cllent smart suite sur le telephone

    Juste pour mou le lien USB ne fonctionne pas, mais la connection wifi entre les smart suite impeccable !!

    After hours on forums I have finally found !

    When installing SmartSuite on the PC, a file MainActivity.apk is copied on the PC;

    Send this file to your mobile phone through a mail, istall it and job's done!

    MainActivity.apk is the client for SmartSuite on the phone

    Single drawback for me, the connection through USB does not work, only the wifi one, one which is perfect !!
