    hello, i am on a htc desire 2.2.
    in order to free some space i want to move some apps to the sd card.
    but some of the apps dont have the "move to sdcard" button active. these are normal apps like games, so it doesnt make sense that they cant be moved.

    i would be grateful for any information on this topic.

    It's because that feature must be coded into the app.. which means developers must pull the app from the market, apply the lines of code and then put it back onto the market.

    Many devs, including ones that offer free apps, probably just don't care.

    .. Which I think is a big problem. I think that devs should get reduced costs for publishing if the app has SD support, to be honest. Unless of course the app contains functionality with which SD installation would interfere.

    There is an app for that which allows you to move any app to the sd card regardless of being sd card ready but you must be rooted (move2SD Enabler).
