First, if this has been answered before, please forgive me. I did a search but didn't see it. I could be missing it though.
I'm about to get my first Android Phone (Samsung Fascinate from VZW). I've been using my gmail account through Outlook for Windows and my blackberry. My Inbox on gmail is still very full as I rarely if ever go to it, but they are all marked as read. Deleting from Outlook and/or the blackberry doesnt delete it from gmail.
My question is before I do my first sync with my new phone, should I empty out my inbox on google, to prevent tons and tons of already read messages from coming down? Or will the phone ignore it since the messages are marked as read?
