I'm curious, I know there are apps that let you create a remote desktop connection from your phone/tablet to your PC, but are there any apps that let your to the opposite; remote into your tablet/phone from your PC?

I've been told that TeamViewer will let you do that, but I haven't tried it. If you have a newer Samsung Device, you can do that with SideSync 3.

MyPhoneExplorer (donate-ware) will do that, put the phone's screen on your computer screen and give you an input box if there's something you have to enter on the phone. Pressing is a mouse click. Long-pressing is a right mouse click.

It's not perfect, but it's pretty good considering it's one of the utilities in a program that's really supposed to be used to sync the phone and computer.
